So, anyone else watching this series?

I'm enjoying it, but I can't stand how there's only one or two moral people in the entire series. Everyone has some plot, some vice, some weird problem... it's a little unrealistic.

  2. I've heard a lot about the series, but I've never seen a single episode. I haven't read the books either.

Game of Thrones had an agressive advertisement towards me, lots of people were telling me to go and watch it "right now" :)derp:), so I ended up avoiding it. Now that I think about it, I've never seen the Avatar for exactly the same reason.

I've seen a lot of the gory and gruesome scenes but I've never had the urge to watch the full series

    I have to disagree,
I've watched the first season and I'm currently reading the first book, and I actually think it is a good thing there is not any outstanding good and evil characters, like most fantasy where most people are defiend as either here it is more of a grey morality which I see as more realistic, since there are no truly evil/good humans.

In those times? It's a fantasy. :) But no, here is no grey here, there's just black... kinda brings a bad image to the royalty and chivalry which existed in medieval times.

Well royalty was pretty dark during(not only though) the medieval time and chivalry was mostly jsut the stuff of stories and legends

  8. Bad image was brough to royalty by lots of fun individuals. Henry VIII and Catherine II, for instance.

Yeah, a quote comes to mind: "The evil that men do lives long after their death, but the good is oft interred with their bones" - Shakespeare. I think we don't often hear of the good kings and queens, and the chivalrous knights because they're boring compared to evil men... unfortunately.

My girlfriend wants to buy me the series on DVD if it even exists, which it probably does. I don't really have anything to say or think about it at all as I haven't seen a single episode either. All I know is that Ronon Dex from Stargate Atlantis (Jason Momoa) plays a character in the series :D

Yeah, the game looks good. Might grab it to add to my Dragon Age/ Witcher collection (both of which are excellent series).

In Season 2, the last episode, in the last scene, you'll be surprised. My reaction:

I'm behind on season 3 but love the series. Arya Stark and Jon Snow are my favorite characters on the show.

Ahh, so no one has read the novels? Well the first two seasons followed the first two novels, pretty much to the letter. However, the third season will only contain the first half of the third novel. Just sayin, in case any of you guys wanted to know.

So far, my favorite story arc is that of Jon Snow. Without spoiling anything, some damn interesting things happen in his subplot. Just the entire universe fascinates me.
