I would like to know if there are any plans to add flamethrowers to the game thanks
I think it's looking to be way too badass already with the chaingun (minigun) and the KSVK, for example. Carrying a flamethrower would mean that Artyom would have to carry huge heavy gas tanks on his back which would slow him down a lot. I don't think it'd be appropriate.
It would be cool though, I have to admit that I agree to that
Have I really misinterpreted the appearance of the sniper-like new rifle that is presented in one of the Metro Last Light gameplaytrailers? :twitch:
Isn't this the one that is going to be in Last Light, just with the scope replaced by iron sights?
...I Just realized that that sounds rediculous.
I've never heard of it^^
Not in RL or in Metro Last Light
Well, I just checked the gameplay trailer and found a good look at the rifle:
Turns out it's not the KSVK after all. I can recall finding the KSVK in my Metro-content folder in Garry's Mod, so I'm guessing it got in there by mistake or that the creater of the metro-content thought the KSVK was the rife in Last Light.
Either way, I was wrong. Sorry for derailing the thread Back to topic!
Shouldnt this be in general discussion?
I don't see a problem with having a stationary flamethrower in the game during a station defence section of the story or something, but mobile flamethrowers seem a bit overkill for Metro and it would be a really bad decision to take one to the surface as it limits mobility and reduces the amount of weight you can carry by quite a bit.
A stationary flamethrower was in Metro 2033 on the Train to D6.But it you have it only for a short time.
that rifle looks like one of those anti-tank rifles from ww1 to me.
Yeah, exactly! Just like that one.
I appologise to the community if i have created this thread in the wrong section
This is suggestions for the forum not the game.

Feast thine eyes. The sniper rifle featured in Last Light is based on this weapon, or a variant of it.
Hmm... It seems to have the majority features of a PTRS but with the bolt action of a PTRD.
Those damn Soviets, they always make the best guns.
But we have the better tanks
