Finally, the official final system requirements for Last Light! You can also try out thisl Nvidia GPU analyzer to see if your PC will run it: http://www.geforce.com/games-applications/pc-games/metro-last-light/gpu-analyzer

Because the 4A Engine is a lot more optimized than Metro 2033, it runs on a pretty wide range of setups. Of course, if you want to hurt your poor PC, you can.

    Minimum

    Windows: XP (32-Bit), Vista, 7 or 8
CPU: 2.2 GHz Dual Core e.g. Intel Core 2 Duo
    RAM: 2GB
    Direct X: 9.0c
    Graphics Card:
DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant e.g. NVIDIA GTS 250 (or AMD equivalent e.g. HD Radeon 4000 series) or higher

    For 3D Vision Support:
    NVIDIA GTX 275 or higher
    120Hz Monitor
NVIDIA 3D Vision kit for Windows Vista, 7 or 8

    Recommended

    Windows: Vista, 7 or 8
CPU: 2.6 GHz Quad Core e.g. Intel Core i5
    RAM: 4GB
    Direct X: 11
    Graphics Card:
NVIDIA GTX 580/660 Ti (or AMD equivalent e.g. 7870) or higher

    For 3D Vision Support:
    NVIDIA GTX 580/660Ti or higher
    120Hz Monitor
NVIDIA 3D Vision kit for Windows Vista, 7 or 8

    Optimum

    Windows: Vista, 7 or 8
    CPU: 3.4 GHz Multi-Core e.g. Intel Core i7
    RAM: 8GB
    Direct X: 11
    Graphics Card:
NVIDIA GTX 690 / NVIDIA Titan (<<< 3 Titans in SLI should be ok too)

    For 3D Vision Support:

    NVIDIA GTX 690
    120Hz Monitor
NVIDIA 3D Vision kit for Windows Vista, 7 or 8

So any HD Radeon 4XXX video card? For example 4650 or 4770? Or only the high-end cards of this series?

By the MLL seems to use !!8GB!! RAM. I don't know any game which uses so much RAM. And I think that 3 Titans are the best to play any game. But who buy video cards for 3000€?;)

I'm guessing mid to high class.4770 should be fine.
8 gigs are for the 3D.

(PC trembles in fear) That was pretty damn close! It looks i won't be upgrading after all.

my PC will explode if this runs this!

  7. Stop whining. Metro 2033 ran on one GF GTX 280 during conventions in late 2009 and 2010. MLL can run on one 280 as well.

The optimal are higher that recommended because of the 3D.That's why you need a better cpu, better gpu and more ram.And that's why you need a Titan, because playing in 3D cuts your performance in half. But optimal are not the recommended requirements to run LL on "very good" like you said.
Same thing happened with Metro 2033 back then.

I cant remember where I read this, but I believe the Titan isn't meant for gaming. Like the 6 series only w few graphics cards are meant for gaming. The rest are meant for other things.

Pretty sure it is for gaming, considering its website mentions it's for gaming many times. Originally it didn't work very well, because the drivers just weren't there. It's been largely fixed now, and it is indeed one of the best cards on the market.

the titan is for gaming. It's actually a gk110 chip, which is what the 680 was supposed to use (was supposed to cost $800 at first too), the gk110 chip is a far more powerful 680 chip basically. To lower the cost of the 680 originally the instead made it a practical 670ti. But some gamers wanted even more, so they decided to not just keep the gk110 for workshops but also for gaming.
