Сталкер (Stalker),The X-files,and old russian comedy/drama movie called "Служебный роман" and another russian movie, called "Мы из будущего"(We are from the future). And another russian movie, called "Август восьмого" (August eighth).
I've been wanting to watch this movie for quite some time. Yeah, not that great of a movie. I hate how nowadays every movie tries to tie the plot with something to do with Chernobyl :tsk:. At least there was a memorable quote " Dis is for popa!" ( Helicopter crashes and explodes) It's not the worst movie but it's not the best. I think I didn't enjoy as much because I went to the midnight showing expecting something great but got robed of my money instead by something only worth $1 hwell:.
What are you waiting for? Sit down and watch it. I must warn you though, the movie is slow and if you're into fast moving pictures this movie will bring yo the yawn.
Many people complain about lack of action in the movie, but the movie is not about action, but rather...Well,you'll see.
300 (for it's immenseness in general) 28 Days Later (Just becuase it's a good movie) V for Vendetta (Acting except for Natalie Portman) and Hot Fuzz, no reason is needed
L'Assault (The Assault) - A French movie, i just LOVE IT! There are probably more but i can't think about it right not :/
The Patriot. I know, this receives a lot of flak from some people, but all those muskets in one movie. Can't be that bad. Also, that movie got me reading a lot of history books. Letters From Iwo Jima. I loved the film's take on the heart breaking desperation on holding that tiny piece of land. The colors of that movie was real nice too. It's typical desaturated grainy look for war movies, with shadow hues pushed to green, but it really helps set the mood. Those really bright shots where the sun seems to wash out the colors really help too.
