Someone made a favourite tv show thread so I made favourite movie thread. One of my all time favourite movies is Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Another movie I really like is a swedish one named Ondskan(Evil) Here is a link to Evil if anyones intrested in reading what it's about http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evil_(2003_film)
I quite like "The dark knight". Mostly because I love Heath Ledgers Joker but it still a well made film.
I think I got two of them: Mr. Nobody and Cloud Atlas They are basically the same way. Also Ondskan is a great book, I havent watched the movie though. I recommend the book highly xD
Because you can use your own imagination instead of the pictures shown in the movie. That's what I think Otherwise you could always try and find a movie based of a book, which is better than the book. That could get intresting xD
Over the years, I fingered out the whole book is better than the movie thing. If you know of a movie based on a book, watch the movie first then read the book. Most likely you’ll be left with the impression that both the book and movie were really good; but don’t re-watch the movie again, unless you want the good impression that was left with you in the first place to leave. A personal example of many: I’m sure you may all be familiar with the movie, The Mist. Well, before the movie was the book. I watched the movie and soon found out it was based on a book. I got and read the book and enjoyed it just as much as the movie. In my mind a thought “ Man, that was good book. I would like to re-watch the movie because I remember it being really good” I watched the movie again and I thought it was stupid compared to the book. The good impression form watching the movie the first time quickly left as fast as some of you finished Metro LL. In rare occasions, both the movie and book can stand-alone and be equally just as good. For me, this happened with Metro 2033 game/book. Hopefully it will be the same for the upcoming movie. op2:
