we all congregate where we like it the most. In the stalker community we have various forums, but most of us congragate in the GSC Game world official forum, where we have lots of threads and thousands of posts in the stalker subforums, and we are not in competition with anyone else. GSC is dead, I know that, but they still mantain the forum for us, their fan base. that said, they are never there, so if there is a problem, we have our link and he tries to do the best for us, but he doen't belong to GSC, he's just another fan like the rest of us.

I don't see the need of competing with other forums. the way I see it, is up to us to keep this forum alive. and as you well said guys, we are all fans of the same game, so why 'fight'?

 

It doesn't matter. Lastlightforum is the place i'll be visiting,even after the game is out.

 

so will I. is the best source of info out there, apart from the wikia, so if we are having any knind of problems with the game or just want to trade info, I'm sure we will find the answers here.

 

if it needs donations so be it. I would gladly donate money if I had to and could afford it, to help keep the forum open

 

Why this forum cant leave from comercial like a lot of other sites? People count is rising very fast so i think its time to have some commercials runnig

 

I'd rather donate a little than have to watch those stupid commercials...
Unless it's metro commercials, of course, and they're in the same colour as the rest of the site

 

To be honest I think people will post for the contest and that's about it. I'm a little peeved that I'm below the 18-y/o age limit, but whatever. I'd rather have artwork of Khan.

 

Is it just me or is the enter the metro.com site a bit like a ghost town as of now?
recently registered there but not a whole lot going on there.

Most of the threads and posts over there are from people here anyway, so there is no need for me to register. Plus I've never won any prizes or giveaways in my life, so even that won't entice me to join.

There is a hell of a lot more activity and information here anyway, the only thing the official forum may have is developer support when the game goes live when people complain about bugs, crashes and game not loading.

 

I won't divulge in names, but there is one person on the official forums that requests the most opposite things of what Metro Last Light should and will be in just about every thread he's posted in. I signed up on the official forums so I could let him know just how I felt. I have also never won any giveaways, but I figured since I'd already signed up I might as well go for it.
