Finally, Bethesda has confirmed Elder Scrolls VI at this year's E3 convention and although the trailer didn't tell me much about the gameplay, I was excited to see it was confirmed. How do you feel about the announcement from Bethesda? And when do you think it will be released?
I wonder what new features they will add to it? I hope they add the ability to attack in mid-air because I found it to be utterly ridiculous that you couldn't attack while jumping in Skyrim. I also hope we can use magic while riding a horse and using magic while swimming.
We already knew they were working on it. It's their biggest franchise. Therefore, the reveal trailer was very pointless, since it showed basically nothing and the game is clearly far from being released.
TES 6 is still in the concept and design phase and although Bethesda have a release date, they are not making it public, yet.
@killamch89, True, being able to attack mid-air would bring more excitement to the game. I guess you have to write to the game developers directly for them to consider your suggestion.
I really don't have to though. It is already in Fallout 4 so they need to code it into the next Elder Scrolls game. I am pretty sure there are a couple other things I'd like addressed but none comes to mind at the moment.
Bethesda doesn't really do suggestions. If they actually listened to suggestions, The Creation Club would have been disbanded and they wouldn't bother with paid mods. Bethesda is slowly killing their own platform and don't even realize it.
I hope they finish it soon! I can't wait to play the sequel to Skyrim. I hope it would be even better than Elder Scrolls V.
Considering how long it's taking them to make it, it damn better be. I think Elder Scrolls needs improvement in 2 key areas: combat, melee especially, and writing, so hopefully they will do something about that.
@killamch89, If that's the case then they should clearly make improvements on that, otherwise they will be losing their fanbase.
Bethesda always misses something for some reason and it's usually things that are important. I am not sure why they release an unfinished game and then try to patch the problems via DLCs. It is the most retarded way of trying to offer "fresh" content I have seen from a gaming company and they are consistent.
ESO has really come a long way. I remember when it used to receive a ton of hate due to couple of obvious reasons. I think the devs have definitely done their job and I'm happy to hear that Elder Scrolls VI is confirmed.
