I love gaming and I have for years but I really do not think I could live in a place that locks down gaming to this point. Has anyone read this or something similar yet? Would you move?
Most of those seem like simple things that are already in most online PC games to start with. I am sure the issues that come up if you break a rule are going to be a bit more serious though. China is not really known as being a light disciplinary.
I agree. A lot of these rules are already included in a huge handful of games and I don't see this affecting too many console players in China.
To me, it's the ambiguous rules about "ethics" and "traditions" that are going to be the grey area. Knowing China, they don't want to spell that out too clearly because it enables them to reserve the right to ban at their will.
Playing with rules is responsible gaming, however there are players that seems to go against these rules because there are players go against it at the first place. That's why i love to play games with the players i know or just me. This way i could not disappoint anyone. But its just me...
