It's one of three games I'm very much looking forward to (the others being Metro: Last Light & The Last Guardian). First Bioshock game was ace, the sequel (read: spin-off) was absolute cack. The Minerva's Den expansion on the other hand was spectacular.

Put the Youtube movie id between these, as such:

Clear the space between / and YOUTUBE in the last part and you'll get this:

Thank you very much, cerberus. The three games I am looking forward are Assassin's Creed III, BioShock: Infinite and Metro: Last Light.
BioShock 2 was absolute briliant, such as the first game. BioShock is just a franchise I fell in love with :)

Looking good. I always found this game interesting because I loved the first two, but I'm sure it won't be the same without Rapture... then again, I guess it's better that it's finally new and they're not milking the previous setting to death, but then why are they using the BioShock name? Still, there's a 50% chance that I'll get the game when it comes out.

That's a rather stupid question, Bamul. I will spare you the obvious marketing reasons but if Ken Levine (the original Bioshock creator) thinks the game's themes fit within the universe that he created then there's no reason not to use the Bioshock name. For instance, I'm sure he would've named it System Shock: Infinite if the themes would fit the System Shock universe...

The Boys of Silence are also my favourites. The creepy design is awesome. Irrational Games know how to make a game interesting. I hope the soundtrack will be as amazing as the soundtracks of BioShock 1 & 2.

I'm sure it will be if Garry Schyman returns.

Glad you did so, as I wasn't asking about that. The marketing reasons really are obvious indeed - I was wondering if there was anything else. Though I guess my question was quite stupid, as it wasn't specific enough.

Pretty. Very pretty, in fact. But I don't have the money for this.

Well yes, by all means, go play your DayZ etc. Enjoy it, and let me enjoy my immersive story-driven single player game in peace.

  16. That's great.

There are a lot of games that do multiplayer better than Bioshock ever did.

Can't beat the System Shock 2 coop though :D

Because it's throwaway entertainment. It's what I play when I want to kill time fast. Single player is the exact opposite.
