The Polish publisher of the Universe of Metro 2033 series, the Metro trilogy and Glukhovsky's other works has designed an awesome calendar in collaboration with Илья Яцкевич (Ilja Jackiewicz/Illya Yatskyevich) - the artist who created most of the book covers for the Universe of Metro 2033, including most of the Polish covers. The artworks for the months are post-apocalyptic renderings of various locations in Russia (many of which are featured in the other novels), as well as the Polish cities of Wrocław and Kraków. I'm posting the images in spoiler tags below: January Spoiler February Spoiler March Spoiler April Spoiler May Spoiler June Spoiler July Spoiler August Spoiler September Spoiler October Spoiler November Spoiler December Spoiler - Spoiler I doubt this would be of use to any of our active members since none of you speak Polish, but if you still really want it for your Metro 2033 stuff collection and know someone who lives in Poland who might get it for you, this is where the calendar can be ordered from: http://sklep.insignis.pl/kalendarz/...5.html?token=c86809162cde42930054637098e1cbd9 However, only 500 copies have been made.
Sweeeet! Too bad it's only in Polish, but still- Sweeeet! I could print out the pictures from internet and staple them together to make a simple mini-version of the calendar!
Yep. I guess you could just slice off the bottom part of each page and add your own - it wouldn't look quite as nice, but it would still function as a calendar for you that way.
I just got this in the mail and holy shit it's larger than I expected... I mean, all the dimensions were written on the store page, but I forgot about them.
