don't know about 670/680, but my 7950 gives me average 32fps with adv. physx on cpu, and 36fps without(everything else maxed out, 1080p, msaa4x, af16x, tesselation, Dof). So the cost is 4fps for me, and i doubt that with nvidia gpu physx acceleration it will be much more difference
Well, the fps drop really depends on your entire set-up. It can vary greatly from one gamer to another.
What do you mean? I thought it was in the game's files? That's how I found it. Obviously, I can't check right now since my PC is still broken.
With my GTX670 WF all maxed out in full hd runs me around 40FPS and dipping bit below 30. However at High, DX11, AAA and AF x4 looking back into the tunnel I have near 70FPS. Otherwise I'm closer to 60 and dipping very few below 50. There is no notable difference in quality really, IMO cutting down few aspects of quality is worth gaining a gaming experience closer to 60FPS. I run the card with 4GB ram and an i5 2500K at standard clock speed. My RAM took a huge drawback since the other stick broke down for me. Cannot remember what kind of performance I had before that.
