So what happened to it??? i thought it was a pretty cool part about 2033 and thought it was gonna play an important role in last light.... any thoughts on where it went?
Was pretty disappointed they didn't make an appearance to be honest. They are an interesting part of the lore and the sequence where you explore the metro on the armoured railcar would have been perfect for one to appear. I was also sad to see the Librarians didn't make an appearance, but that makes sense considering they don't seem to travel beyond the library and it's never visited in LL.
I always thought the anomaly from metro looked somewhat similar to the mutant, Poltergeist, from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
There is an anomaly actually. Though not harmful like the electrical ones. The Darkness is its name. Usually when your flashlight and other electrical sources of light, stop working suddenly. After you pass it, everything is back to normal.
