"Dragon's Dogma", http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw4ZbatE82s. It looks amazing, and I think it's better than skyrim, because there are dragons, hydras, griffons, and chimaeras. This is, in my opinion, going to be an excellent game.
I like capcom, for their Devil May Cry series, but this doesnt look to beat Skyrim at all :/ First off, I dont think they would make a "Free roaming" game, and 2nd of all: Skyrim has dragons, Giants, Ice giants, Fire giants, Daedras, Necromancers, Zombies and a whole lot more
I'm a big fan of Elder Scrolls (one of those people who can't wait for Skyrim). But who knows, it might beat it. It certainly is looking quite awesome.
Hey, I plan to get Skyrim, don't you worry about that! But I'd probably go for this first. I like linear RPGs, since I don't have the time to go around the world searching for stuff, and they're more story-driven.
I agree, Last Light will most probably be a much more story-driven, atmospheric and astonishing experience. However I'm sure Skyrim will be longer & at times more fun, because it's open world. In the end both games should be great.
haha almost thought you wouldnt! xD Anyway, now I know what you mean in the first place. Although Im not too much for Linear RPG's ^^
It's similar but not just like them. The Stalker games are open world, for example, whilst Metro is more linear.
Well, some of the Metro staff worked on the Stalker games, so they would obviously have some influence. But Metro is quite different, being linear and underground.
Actually I think it was the exact same team, but Im not too sure. atleast the same company, wich would make you able to draw similiarities between both games. Like the enlgish VA, lol xD "Howdy-hoo."
It wasn't the same company, but you were close. Here's how it goes: before all of the STALKER games getting released and probably around three quarters of the way through developing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, a fraction of the developers from GSC Game World leave the studio. They form their own, & call it 4A Games. Their first game: Metro 2033. So obviously, a large part of the team has experience with atmosphere.
Soooo... getting back to Dragon's Dogma. Ha ha! It's funny how every thread goes back to Metro here. But hey, that's a good thing!
heh, I guess all roads lead to Metro. I don't know though. I'm really liking Skyrim's open world. It just seems like your writing your own epic. I will definately keep my eye on it though.
Yeah, but I try to support unhyped games (like Metro), since they are often more unique and I want to support the guys (and girls) who make them.
