2015 was a very good year for CD Projekt RED with the release of the amazing, acclaimed video game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Things only got even better for the game after the launch of its two awesome story expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. However, things are only going to get better for the game with the release of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, and an upcoming Game of the Year Edition for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This new edition of the hit, award-winning game arrives this month. It’s packed with both story expansions for the game, the aforementioned Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. Not only that, this edition features all the downloadable content, update and improvements that were released over the life of the game.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition arrives on Tuesday, August 30 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The release will be available in select territories and channels as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition. Meanwhile, Gwent is getting it’s own solo computer card game. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is set to launch in beta form later this year.
Well that looks pretty awesome. I always love seeing the new trailers, and it always amazes me how much these look like little mini movies now. Just that scene in the beginning at the bar, setting the scene has a movie trailer all over it. Also, I am just curious, how does a game get over 800 awards? How many awards are there out there?
