Check Out New Screenshots for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood!
A new Final Fantasy DLC expansion is due out next month, and some new images dropped for it recently. This week, Final Fantasy XIV director and producer Naoki Yoshida shared some new details and screenshots for the next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, which is Stormblood, on the game’s official forums. The new screenshots showcase the city of Kugane, new job actions for the Black Mage, Red Mage, and Bard classes and also the Bard using the Azim Steppe. According to Yoshida, the screenshots for the game were taken while he was performing some testing. Yoshida noted on the image quality was lower because of restrictions for image sizes on the official forums. He stated on the game, “We’re working hard till the very last minute, so hang in there!”
Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4. PlayStation 3 functionality is slated to end later this summer. Per Square Enix, gamers who own the game for PlayStation 3 will have the option to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 version free of charge. Additionally, players who had a subscription that expired previously will also be given 14 days of free play starting from the day they upgrade the game to a new PlayStation 4 version. The current upgrade promotion is slated to last until December 31, 2017.
The new Stormblood expansion will arrive on June 20th.
This series continues to amaze me, which oddly does not surprise me at all, but still it is awesome to see them still going strong. Looks as good as ever too if you ask me.
I agree that it looks great. With every single development in this game we've seen it go from good to better and surpass even that. I never used to be into games until I was introduced to Final Fantasy by my little brother a couple of years ago and now I'm totally hooked. Thanks for sharing that post.

I always think ahead to the developments that I would like to see with every new version of a game but now after FFXIV I am hard pressed to think of what they might do to improve this game…
I know what you mean, clair02. But the fact of the matter is that a little while after the initial euphoria wears off, we will start to find all sorts of things we want improved in the next game. That's just the nature of things.
