At San Diego Comic Con, the team at Niantic took to the stage to talk about the massively popular Pokemon GO.
Among the many announcements, the team assures gamers that one of their top priorities is to establish trading Pokemon between players. A staple of the main series. Though, he doesn’t know when it will be out:
“I’m sorry, I don’t have a date for you [for trading,]” Hanke said. “We’re working really hard to keep the servers up and running… It’s at the top of our priority list.”
He also noted that remaining generation 1 Pokemon, along with Pokemon from other generations will be coming as well in the coming months and years.
I would love if they fixed servers but I'm curious about the new updates as well. From what I've seen people only collect Pokemons but they don't fight, maybe they could make the fighting system more intuitive.
I'm glad to hear that they're working on new features (And hopefully making the servers more stable!) because this game has tons of potential and I can't wait to see how they leverage that potential with new content and features.
Curious to see how they move forward because it's already so popular and surprised a lot of people. I'm sure whatever they come up with will just make the game even more addictive.
I'm glad they're adding new stuff as the game is really bare bones right now. They should work on fixing their server issues before trying to add more things though.
