Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Extending Backer Timeline

by on April 27, 2017

The massive RPG Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, has already reached well beyond its funding goal on the crowdfunding service Fig. However, they’re wanting to get as much as possible out of the game content wise, and to hit a certain stretch goal, they’re extending how long people have to pledge.

The extension will only last until Friday, in which the team hopes to reach $4.75 million dollars raised, here’s an official statement from their Fig page:

“On Friday, April 28th at 5pm PDT, we will no longer count contributions towards stretch goals and the game will be ‘content locked’, meaning that we will not be putting any new content into the game. However, we will continue to take new backers on Fig and our Backer Portal if you’d still like to get rewards. We will share an update on Friday with more information on the Backer Portal and what you can expect in the near future.”

The team also gives progress on how the development of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is going, be sure to check out the page for full details.
