PAX East: Gearbox Confirms Borderlands 3 Development
At the Gearbox Panel yesterday, a number of announcements were made about several upcoming titles including Battleborn and the long wanted Borderlands 3. For those wanting an official confirmation about the games existence, they got it:
“It’s no secret. Obviously there is going to be another Borderlands.” Art Director Scott Kester even referred to the game as “Borderlands 3,” though CEO Randy Pitchford later added, “We don’t even know if we’re going to call it that.”
Pitchford notes that the game will be going into production soon, thus meaning that pre-production is finished. As for the story, Gearbox did not offer any solid details.
