Just How Much Hard Drive Space Will The Division Eat Up? The Beta File Size Has Been Leaked!

If you are planning to take part in The Division’s beta version next week, you should know that the file size is quite a large bit of hard drive space. According to a report by VG247, the amount of gigabytes needed to download the beta version of The Division has been revealed.

Per the report, the download comes into 26.25GB. The news was revealed by a player who has early access to next week’s beta. The game has a beta test scheduled for next week for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version set to go live on January 29. The screenshot that showed the file size reportedly originated from a screenshot of a UPlay download of the game that was posted on Reddit by user legate213.

In other Division news, Ubisoft has also released the first part of four-part, live-action prequel for the game, Agent Origins. You can check out the first part of the four-part series, “Escape,” in the player below. Ubisoft is also offering a promotion unlock four Free Division Agent Gear Sets inspired by the video series. Each gear set will give players’ in-game Division Agent a unique look and skills. In order to get the gear sets, players have to redeem the code “AGENTORIGINS” at this link.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is finally scheduled for its long awaited release on March 8. The game is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Players who pre-order the game will get guaranteed access to the aforementioned beta version.
