Fire Emblem Warriors Sold Through 50% Of Shipment In Japan
How well is Fire Emblem Warriors doing in Japan? How does it compare to Hyrule Warriors?
Though US players have to wait until the 20th, Japanese players got to get Fire Emblem Warriors on the 29th of last month, and numbers are coming in now for how well the game is doing. The title sold around 50,000 units on the Switch version, and 20,000 for the 3DS version. So combined, sources say it’s about 50% of Japan’s initial shipment of the game.
How does that compare to Koei Tecmo’s previous Nintendo collaboration Hyrule Warriors? Well, that one sold through 57% of its initial shipment, so Fire Emblem Warriors did have a little dropoff. However, given the amount of fan complaints about this game, that’s still a pretty good number.
The game arrives in the US on November 20th for the Switch and 3DS
