Fire Emblem Warriors Gets Class Changes And New Mode!

by on September 6, 2017

Will Fire Emblem Warriors play only like a Dynasty Warriors game? What other omages to the original series will it have?

There’s been many scrutinies over Fire Emblem Warriors lately, and much of it is focused on the roster of characters in the game itself. This will no doubt be added to as Sakura and Male Corrin were confirmed for the game earlier, making the Fire Emblem Fates side of the roster much larger compared to Awakening and Shadow Dragon, the other Fire Emblem games represented in the title. However, new details from the upcoming issue of Famitsu is set to change things.

First up, much like Fire Emblem itself, Warriors will have class changes, and even a skills page that can will allow up to 3 skills per warrior. What’s more, some of these skills will only be unlocked via bonding with other characters.

But, the big reveal is that Fire Emblem Warriors is going to have a “History Mode”, which will feature turn-based style battles that’ll “retell” the stories of Shadow Dragon, Awakening, and Fates. Though obviously, it’ll be shorter versions of them. But, we do know that Valider from Awakening will be an enemy character, so we could be seeing many more Fire Emblem characters than just the playable roster, lots of possibilities now that this has been revealed.
