Dark Souls 3 Gets a First-Person Mod! Check Out the Footage Here!

Players can now witness a unique gaming experience for Dark Souls unlike anything seen before. Dark Souls 3 can now be played in first-person mode for Windows PC. Modder ZullieTheWitch has created a new first-person mode mod for the game, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods. So now players can experience the game in a first-person mode. You can check out a video of the first-person mode from Iron Pineapple in the player below.

The first-person mode was created using floating hands that don’t have arms or a body. The mod actually looks quite impressive in action. In some ways, it’s interesting seeing Dark Souls 3 in a whole new perspective. There’s even a fun reference in the video to “Fus ro Dah!”

Be forewarned about trying this mod. Gamespot reports that the mod will not modify the game’s files, but it could potentially cause a soft ban to a player’s account or corrupt the game’s data. As such, the mod should only be downloaded at your own risk. In addition a patch that was recently supposed to address hacking and cheating in the game was removed because it was causing the game to both lock-up and freeze.

Dark Souls 3 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
