Nintendo released some new gameplay videos this week for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during The Game Awards 2016. You can check out the new gameplay videos and new footage in the players below. These new videos offer a greater look at the gameplay and this amazing new iteration of Hyrule.

The videos offer a look at Life in the Ruins in the new gameplay video. Since the game seems to be set in a post-apocalyptic version of Hyrule, players have to travel around a harsh world that’s gone through destruction and chaos. The other gameplay video features Bill and Nate from Nintendo Treehouse. The video features footage of a new shrine quest in an exotic riverside area in Hyrule for Breath of the Wild.

The new environments look very impressive. This lush, harsh wilderness version of Hyrule looks absolutely amazing. The new art style is also very interesting for a Zelda game. But this could be beneficial for the franchise, much like the creation of the Toon Link style for the franchise.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is due out in 2017. The game will be available for Wii U and Nintendo’s new console, the Nintendo Switch.
