Find Out All the Call of Duty World League Championship Day Three Results!

Have you been tuning into the Call of Duty World League Championship this week? Are you ready to find out the results of the first day of the Championship Bracket for Day 3?

Activision and PlayStation 4 have been hosting the Call of Duty World League Championship (CWL) this week. On Friday, August 11, Day 3 of the tournament took place, which featured the first day of the Championship Bracket for the CWL. The tournament has been held this week at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

After two days of Group Play, 16 teams took part in the first day of the Championship Bracket. First off, Str8 Rippin’ faced FaZe. FaZe won matches of Crusher Search and Destroy and Frost Uplink to secure the series.

Also in the Championship Bracket, Team Infused defeated Rise Nation. Rise Nation first won a match of Retaliation Hardpoint with a score of 137-82 on the first rotation. Infused then scored one back with a win on Crusher Search and Destroy. Team Infused then won the series with a match of Throwback Hardpoint, winning by 250-247 for a come from behind win.

Later on in the Bracket series, OpTic Gaming faced Mindfreak Black. OpTic won the first match of Retaliation Hardpoint. Mindfreak Black then tied the series with a win in Crusher Search and Destroy.  Finally, OpTic won the Frost Uplink match to secure the series over Mindfreak Black, putting the team into the Loser’s Bracket.

In another Championship Bracket series, Splyce faced Enigma6. After that, Splyce won the first match of Retaliation Hardpoint by 250-212. Splyce then beat Enigma6 again in a match of Search and Destroy. Splyce then beat the team again in a match of Frost Uplink to sweep the series over Enigma6.

Elsewhere, Team EnVyUs  faced Epsilon in the second half of round one games that took place on the main stage. EnVyUs ultimately won the series 3-1. Meanwhile, Ghost Gaming took on Cloud9 and also won a 3-1 series as well.

Team Allegiance faced down Team Fnatic and scored a huge upset. The North American Last Chance Qualifier Team won a 3-1 series over Fnatic at the tournament. Allegiance went down on the first match of Retaliation Hardpoint. The team then went on to win matches of Crusher Search and Destroy, Frost Uplink, and Throwback Hardpoint.

Finally on the Winners Bracket main stage portion of the tournament on Friday, eUnited won a 3-1 series over Luminosity. eUnited won matches of Crusher Search and Destroy and Frost Uplink. The team then scored a 250-161 win on a match of Throwback hardpoint.

Additionally, four Global Pro League teams were able to stay in the game at the CWL Shampionship and secure Top-12 placements via the second round of the Losers Bracket. Those teams include Enigma6, Rise Nation, Luminosity, and Epsilon after becoming victorious in the Losers’ Bracket matches.

As of now, there are still 12 teams left in the running for the Call of Duty World League Championship 2017. After Saturday, August 12, there will only be the the top four remaining teams, who will play against each other on Championship Sunday. All the matches will be available to view live on mlg.tv/callofduty.
