Bayonetta 3 Development Going Well

by on September 22, 2018

What’s the latest on Bayonetta 3? Is anything going wrong with development?

Last year at The Game Awards, Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime revealed that not only would Bayonetta 1 and 2 be coming to the Nintendo Switch via a port (which has sold very well since launch in February), but also, Bayonetta 3 was confirmed to be coming from Platinum Games.

However, since that announcement, there have been no new trailers, glimpses of the characters, story details, or anything else. It’s been very quiet on their front. This has left many wondering if the game has had any issues. Well, during a panel at a show in Japan, Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya and Atsushi Inaba said the following:

“It’s nice to be able to tell you that everything is going very, very well. We’re all very excited about what we’re doing on that game.”

They also noted that they wish they could tell you more about what’s going on, but they’re waiting until they have the right amount of stuff to show off. The game is believed to be coming out in 2019, but only time will tell.
