In an interview with Polygon, Gearbox Co-Founder Randy Pitchford revealed some interesting facts about the title. Mainly, that the team at Gearbox have put more into Battleborn than previous Gearbox hits like the Borderlands games:
“We’ve invested more than Borderlands 1 and 2 added together into Battleborn,” he said.
He would go on to note that the team members who aren’t working on Battleborn are working on various other Gearbox IP’s, including a new Borderlands, Duke Nukem, and more.
