Was Nintendo the sole developer of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp? If not, then who helped?
It’s easy to think of Nintendo as one giant developer within itself, and it technically is. However, it does have what are called “2nd Party Developers”. Meaning, they’re studios that are owned by Nintendo, but don’t work within Nintendo proper. One of these is Game Freak, there’s also Retro Studios, and then, there’s ND Cube.
ND Cube is known primarily for making the Mario Party games, as well as Wii Party on the Wii. However, an update to their site revealed that they helped make Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, which is the most recent entry in the Nintendo Mobile initiative. The game is doing pretty well so far, so that’s something that the developer can be happy with.
I hope the 2nd Party Developers will do a good job.
Yeah, I hope so.
But it is not like I'm going to loose any sleep over this one. I mean, this is really not my thing.
ND Cube usually does a good job on their projects.
I agree, they put out magnificent work.
Haven't really played the game series but I have heard real good things about it.
I also hope so.
Me too.
Me too.
True.
I see.
